County District Offices, Rhein-Neckar-Kreis Heidelberg

A structure lies like a sculpture between the geometrically rigid buildings containing the county offices and the public health department. The new entry hall is an optic attention-getter which serves as both a point of attraction and a contrast on the Kurfürstenanlage.
The building for the public health department was heightened and optically enhanced using stilts. Both buildings are now connected by a glass bridge.
